FAQ's(Q) How do I join The British Golf Club??(A) Joining The British Golf Club could not be simpler. All we need are a few basic details;- Full Name Address Contact Phone Mumbers (Home & Mobile) Current Handicap (If You Have One) Spanish Federation Number (if You Are A Member) You can send these details via E-mail www.britishgolfclub@yahoo.co.uk Or your welcome to give us a call Office (0034) 968 134 813 Mobile (0034) 676 651 184 Once we have prepared your membership we will post it to the address you provide or simply collect it at the next event you play (Q) Are the events and membership open to gents, ladies and juniors?? (A) The British Golf Club Welcomes all golfers to play in there events.
Gentleman, ladies & Juniors (15 and above) There will be catergories for all (subject to numbers) and the discretion of the Director Of Golf. (Q) I don't have an official handicap at the moment, can I still Play and join?? (A) Yes you can Still play and join. The British Golf Club will keep track and update your handicap depending on your scores and performance. We only adjust your handicap with the results from British Golf Club events. And the prize fund at each event is only open to members with the exception of one prize for highest placed guest. (Q) I only visit Spain several times per year, can I Still become a member?? (A) Yes this is not a problem. dates and venues are always posted on the website and if you don't have internet access your welcome to call for the dates, this way you can plan your trips around the events you wish to take part in. (Q) Being a member would you keep track and adjust my handicap depending on my scores?? (A) After each British Golf Club Event our handicap system adjust's your hadicap depending on your score and performance. we keep a record of this and any changes to your handicap will take effect at the next event. (Q) Do you play on different days of the week?? (A) We try to have some variation for our tee times, days of the week and venues. Sometimes we have to book dates and venues around other commitments the golf course may have. Also we have to balance green fee rates, buggy rates time of day (heat and daylight) we strive to provide our members and guests alike with a well rounded combination of price, time of day, venue and different days of the week. (Q) I am a little nervous about playing in a British Golf Club event, should I Be?? (A) Absolutely Not! This is a common question we get asked all the time by new and potential members. (Q) I am unable to access the internet, how can I find out about upcoming events??Our events are staged in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Our tee time system places players of similar handicaps together, remember our events are for amature golfers and everyone has a handicap. So our advice is come and play, enjoy and relax and may be you will win a prize or two! (A) Don't worry, your always welcome to telephone.
