HandicapsRevised from 25th July 2008Standard Handicap Adjestment Category 1 player 0 - 9 Handicap (+0.1 for not playing to handicap -0.1 for every point over current playing handicap) Category 2 player 10 - 19 Handicap (+0.2 for not playing to handicap -0.2 for every point over current playing handicap) Category 3 player 20 - 36 handicap (+0.3 for not playing to handicap -0.3 for every point over current playing handicap) In addition to the "standard handicap adjustment" a player finishing first, the following adjustments will be applied:- Category 1 player -1.0 Category 2 player -1.5 Category 3 player -2.0 In addition to the "Standard Handicap Adjustment" a player finishing second, the following adjustments will be applied:- Category 1 player -0.5 Category 2 player -0.8 Category 3 player -1.0 In addition to the "Standard Handicap Adjustment" a player finishing third, the following adjustments will be applied:- Category 1 player -0.2 Category 2 player -0.4 Category 3 player -0.6 This system is being applied to ensure fair competition for all our members. If you have any questions or concerns your welcome to submit them in writing to the director of golf, who decision is final in all handicap matters. |
